The EU Opportunity Week was a distinctive initiative designed to present a broad array of EU opportunities to Serbia. The event, collaborated with numerous ministries of the Serbian government, was structured to encompass both offline and online activities, featuring presentations, discussions, and info sessions. An innovative feature of the event was the use of a metaverse platform for live broadcasts and interactive engagements with partners. This enabled a wide reach across Serbia, ensuring the accessibility of information to all interested parties.

While Serbia is on its way to becoming a member state, the European Union is already opening up many opportunities for Serbia, its citizens and the economy through the visa-free regime, through a very open and favorable trade and investment environment, as well as through many financial programs and projects. Serbia is a country of hardworking and creative people and businesses, and the EU helps them realize their potential. These opportunities lead to numerous success stories in Serbia and we are proud to participate in the development of a more prosperous society and a better Europe", the EU Ambassador to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, said about the EU Opportunity Week.

"Opportunity Week is the crown of the long-standing partnership between Serbia and the European Union. During the five days of the intensive program, the citizens of Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad will be able to get to know more specifically how and under what conditions they can participate in numerous EU programs and projects that are open to Serbia. It is about giving citizens the opportunity to present their good ideas for new jobs, training, improvement of the environments in which they live and to receive support for them. These are the real benefits of the European integration, it is the impact on the quality of our daily life", said Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević.
