The magical Djerdap is waiting to be discovered
The magic of Djerdap is magnificent: whether you drive along the Danube to Trajan's Table, fish near Tekija in its beautiful bays, or wander through the mystical lagoons of the Fetislam fortress in Kladovo, or just enjoy the trails, beautiful viewpoints, preserved flora and fauna.
Djerdap is the largest and, at this point people will tell you without hesitation, the most beautiful national park of Serbia and the first geo-park in our country. And – different by all means.
"The best offer of Djerdap is the cultural and historical heritage and that special secret - people and their stories," says Ivan Morarević from the Djerdap Travel tourist agency. "That is the most important and most beautiful thing to know."
The aim of Djerdap Travel is to gather the entire tourist offer in one place, and they received help from the European Union and the German office GIZ, which dedicated the funds for the construction and installation of the website djerdaptravel.rs. It presents everything that the first geo-park in Serbia has to offer to individual tourists.
"The EU project was a good opportunity for us to apply for funds and to create what we did not have", concludes Morarević.
