Under the EU for PAR project, newsletter #4 has been prepared, featuring articles and information on recent project activities.
We talked with Ivana Vukašinović, Assistant Director of the Public Policy Secretariat, about the new Programme for Improving Public Policy Management and Regulatory Reform, goals and measures envisaged by the Action Plan for the Programme implementation.
Through a conversation with the project experts, we present two recently published manuals on efficient public policy management - the Handbook for Public Policy Management and the Handbook for Public Participation in Planning, Drafting and Monitoring the Implementation of Public Policies and Regulations. Both manuals are available in the Downloads section.
Cooperation with the German-Serbian Development Cooperation Project "Support to Public Administration Reform in the EU Accession Process", implemented by GIZ, on the development of instruments and processes that should ensure quality public participation in consultations, preparation and monitoring of public policies resulted in the development of the eConsultations portal that was launched in mid-December 2021. Readers can find more information about the portal and plans for its further development in the newsletter.
Finally, the newsletter presents the experiences of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, which is the first institution in Serbia to successfully pilot the European quality management model (CAF).
