Summary
The Judicial Academy trains around 4,000 holders of judicial functions, 2,000 judicial trainees and more than 10,000 judicial staff every year. The EU support will improve quality of justice and modernise judicial training in line with the European standards.
The Judicial Academy building will be reconstructed and equipped to ensure adequate space for training and exams. It will also be able to assist in exams and training of other relevant bodies (High Judicial Council, State Prosecutorial Council). It will have adequate size, quantity and equipment for continuous and high-quality specialised training (forensics, cyber crime, etc.). Further human resources and infrastructure support to the Academy will allow it to focus more on training of judges, prosecutors, assistants and court staff through a modern and efficient judicial training institution.
