What is the project about?
The Project will contribute to the implementation of the National Employment Strategy for the period 2011-2020 and the respective annual National Employment Action Plans, through the support of horizontal and targeted sector-based areas related to promotion of employment activities with special focus to professionally and socially vulnerable groups (focusing on: unemployed persons with knowledge and skills that are not in demand by employers, persons made redundant in the public sector and persons with disabilities).
Specific objectives of the project
- to reduce labor market skills mismatches
- to improve NES existing training system
- to improve the impact of employment measures and services tailored to the needs of persons with disabilities
Expected results
- skills gaps identified/tackled and quality of NES training programs improved
- process of training organization in NES improved
- improved employment services and measures to PWDs delivered by NES
- improved quality of vocational rehabilitation and training in enterprises for vocational rehabilitation and employment of PWDs
