Civil society projects

Under Europe for Citizens programme of bringing the Union closer to citizens the general objectives are: to contribute to citizens' understanding of the Union, its history and diversity; to foster European citizenship and to improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at Union level. Specific objectives of this action under sub-programmes "Democratic Engagement and Civic Participation" are: to support projects promoted by transnational partnerships and networks directly actively involving citizens, covering at least two activities directly linked to Union policies: Promotion of societal engagement and solidarity; Gathering of opinions; Volunteering. Activities can include promoting debate/campaigns/actions/use of social networks, webinars, etc.

Reference: EACEA/52/2019          Maximum indicative amount per project: EUR 150,000.

Project must include organisations from at least three countries of which at least one is an EU Member State.
